What is the difference between Goethe and telc German exams?

Both Goethe-Institut and telc are globally recognised German language certifications accepted for visas and Ausbildung. Goethe exams are run by the Goethe-Institut and are accepted at all German embassies. telc exams are offered at more centres across India, often with more frequent exam dates. I've spent nearly a decade living, studying, and working in Germany. I hold an MBA from a German university and have professional experience in the country — I'm fluent in both written and spoken German, and have been teaching the language for over 10 years.
